A Season of Change

In A Simple Season, Jacob Miller brings his children to visit his grandparents for Christmas in Sarasota's Amish neighborhood of Pinecraft. Their stay is lengthened after his daughter is struck by a car and they can't return to Ohio because of her injuries. Natalie Bennett never thought her circus career as an aerial silks artist would end with a blown-out knee at the age of 25. She also never thought her late mother had a secret, that she was once Amish. Natalie meets the Millers while volunteering at the hospital, and they help her search for her mother's family. Natalie feels the warmth of the Millers, but as Jacob and Natalie fall in love, their two worlds collide. Will they be able to blend their worlds together? Or will Jacob make the practical choice and will Natalie return to her solitary life?
